Harrowing. Its examples beggared belief. To think the human race had sunk to this unspoken collusion on every level. Those in government allowing incompetent  systems to continue, those on 6 figure salaries, putting status before lives, those in middle management keeping quiet and desperate to keep their jobs and and  those up to their eyes in mothers and baby deliveries stifled by it all, leaving the profession or going on long term sick.

 

Those that we should have been able to trust with our lives had for years ignored the signals. Death and damage in volumes, and enduring pain,  is the result. Now we must rebuild from the bottom up and there is a huge  wave of relief demonstrated by a clear willingness from those at ground level where the rebuilding starts, to LISTEN  and put it right now. We must not look this gift-horse in the mouth.
