FOLKESTONE COASTAL 10K RUN 25TH MAY 2025
A huge thank you to our 16 runners, 4 who were my grandchildren. An amazing effort to complete the run, and a good time was had by all, and those of you who caught up with us afterwards at the Harbour Arm.
Children in chronological age: Honey Twynn 10, Johnathon Palmer 7, Reevie Heslop 5, JJ Heslop 3 years 362 days old and 4 on the following Wednesday, and daddy Jacob who chaperoned.
Adults: Vicky Roughley,Jordan Helsop, Laura Palmer, Hannah Grover, KIm and Matt May,Sharon and Ross McInnes,Martivale Clinic: Sam McCullin and Aliona Ivanchuk, Kent Community Foundation: Jan O,Donnell and Maria. Hamilton and Henry sadly couldn’t make it. We had weeks of problems with the donation system and payment methods, at one stage using 2 different methods, yet despite that we have to date increments of £1,300.and the GoFundMe crowdfunding will continue as we work towards our current target of £100,000.
Some of you are experienced runners, others ran just for the hell of it. Whatever the case, well done and see you next year.
