Sally Heathcote and Emily Martin welcomed me, later on talking to parents and promoting our campaign so well that I have been contacted by a member of K.C.C’s Children’s Safeguarding Team to work collaboratively and gain support for our campaign aims. It was very nostalgic to be gazing up at the trees and the huge lawns in the primary school playground,( where the nursery is situated), where I spent some of the happiest and safest years of my life with the kindest folk you will find in Kent, who were always there when you needed them. Thank goodness nothing has changed there in Aylesham, where I’m proud to say I was born and bred.
