  • Identification:“A lack of focus on mother and baby wellbeing after initial 6-8 week checks” • “Women feeling dismissed or overly reassured when discussing their problems with G.P.’s”.
  • Time pressures on GP consultations • Significant inconsistencies and discontinuities in the system • A lack of focus on the mother and baby relationship.

4B)  INADEQUATE MEASURES

N.B.March 2020- E.K.CCG inform us that G.P.’s now offer a 10minute 6 week post natal mother and baby check up in surgery to cover all physical and mental health issues.

No. 5 :Clinical Failings, leading to secondary physical and mental health problems for mother and physical and emotional trauma in baby.   Suggestions for improvements: Early domestic support with chores and children and advice, also liaising with other providers IE. G.P. Health Visitors etc. for professional monitoring.

4D) EVERGLOW CAMPAIGN: PERINATAL ACCOUNTS

In 2019 two parents state that despite promises from E.K. Maternity Dept. made in 2017, babies tongue ties continue to go undiagnosed and corrected up to 6+ months old.
